Interview with Pescador

Raul Pescador Caballero, a 23 year old player from Madrid. He is a winger who has great speed and dribbling.

• At what age did you start playing soccer?

Ever since I could remember I had a ball near my feet, I played everywhere; at home, in the street, anywhere I had a ball nearby (as an anecdote: my father had to buy me a basketball when I was 3 years old so that I wouldn’t pick up the ball as much and I would stop breaking things at home).

• In which team did you start playing?

I started in Pinto, my hometown team where I live.

• Have you ever visited Torremolinos? If yes, what do you like the most?

Yes, when I was a child my parents took me on vacation but I was too young to remember it today.

• What has attracted you most to the club, to come here?

The team’s project seems interesting to me.

• What is the position in which you feel more comfortable?

Winger.

• What do you hope for next season?

To go up to 1st rfef with Torremolinos.

• What would you emphasize of your game?

Speed, power, overflow and ball striking.

• Which player has been your idol or reference?

I always liked Cristiano very much, but I also liked Raúl González and Iniesta.

• Who is the player with the highest level you have faced?

Thinking back, it was Fran Beltrán, who is currently playing for the Celta de Vigo 1st team.

I remember that guy had at least 8 lungs and there was no way to take the ball away from him, he was always in the perfect place and he had an incredible ability with the ball.

• Do you have any ritual before the games?

More than a ritual, I consider it a hobby and that is to bandage my left wrist and kiss my shin guards before putting them on where I have the signatures of my mother, father and sister.

• Do you have any hobbies?

All kinds of sports.
