One point in our fortress

The match of the 5th matchday of the Second Federation in its group IV, where an undefeated Juventud de Torremolinos received in the stadium El Pozuelo to Yeclano Deportivo that has lost once and drawn once in two matches played.

A grey afternoon in terms of the weather, however, as the first half at El Pozuelo stadium began, and it didn’t take long for Juventud de Torremolinos to reach Ivan’s net, with a shot from Alexis, who was playing on the left flank this time, replacing Raul Pescador.

Five minutes later, the veteran from Malaga, Javi Lopez, shot against the crossbar with a sharp shot, over the goalkeeper from Murcia.

The youngsters from Torremolinos controlled the ball possession, using short passes, with a combination of Amaya and Fran Castillo.

Yecla’s first chance came in the 15th minute, when Javi Alonso’s diagonal shot was blocked by a great Javi Cuenca.

Torremolinos and Yeclano Deportivo promised a very dynamic and attractive match for the spectators, as the locals managed to dominate the match with the ball, and the visitors offered direct attacking play, especially on both flanks.

Joshua Farrell, who was very active between the lines during the first half, would have two chances for the Greens to end the first half, with a header after a brilliant pass from Alexis and a diagonal run on the edge of the box, which ended with a cross shot from the Wales international.

The second half began with Adrián Hernández refreshing the lines, and the Murcians had the best chances in the second half.

Lorca’s first chance came in the 54th minute, with Bautista’s shot from close range stretching Javi Cuenca. At the end the points were shared between Torremolinos and Yeclano.

The home side remains unbeaten this season, good enough for ninth place. The Murcians got a fair draw to recover from a bad start to the season.
